MORE THAN 125 congregations and 36,000 members

The Episcopal Diocese of Chicago reaches from Lake Michigan in the east to the Mississippi River in the west with congregations that spread across northern and west central Illinois, including parishes, missions, and campus ministries.

The Search & Nomination Committee will begin its work by listening to voices from across the diocese to create a Diocesan Profile that tells the story of who we are, what we believe, and what we are seeking in our next bishop.

Several listening sessions are scheduled to take place in August. Additional sessions just for clergy will be announced soon. For those who are unable to attend a listening session, an online survey will be available later in the summer.
